Community Involvement At Assurity, we put our mission into practice every day, not only by serving our customers, but also through our meaningful commitment to strengthening our community. Assurity associates devote their time and effort to many company-sponsored and supported volunteer activities: blood drives, Habitat for Humanity, collections for the Food Bank, holiday "giving tree," Junior Achievement, Special Olympics, and participating in other charitable fundraisers. We are proud to be a pacesetter company for the annual United Way and related agencies' fund drive. Assurity has been among the Top 10 community supporters several times in recent years. Based on a strong level of associate participation, Assurity has also been a Pacesetter Company for the annual United Way workplace campaign nearly all of the past 20 years. Other ways we reach out to the community include our support of arts, cultural, athletic and human services endeavors. We believe in demonstrating our role as a protector of lives and well-being by investing in the quality of life in our community.
