Assurity is a certified Lincoln Family Friendly Workplace

LINCOLN, Neb., May 5, 2026 – Assurity was named as a Lincoln Family-Friendly Workplace by Lincoln Littles and the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED). This certification recognizes Assurity’s continued commitment to supporting families with young children, implementing family-friendly workplace practices and prioritizing family well-being and early childhood support.

“We’re honored to earn this recognition because supporting families is core to who we are,” says Susan Becker, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Assurity. “Through flexible scheduling and hybrid work options, paid parental leave and other meaningful benefits like health coverage for dependents, we support an environment where associates can thrive at home and at work.”

The Lincoln Family-Friendly Workplace Certification highlights policies and practices that businesses like Assurity can implement to support working parents, such as health insurance for dependents, flexible scheduling and paid or unpaid leave. Employers that meet at least 7 out of 10 qualifying criteria receive the Lincoln Family-Friendly Workplace Certification.

“Family-friendly policies are not just good for employees; they strengthen the whole organization,” said LPED Director of Talent Development Allison Hatch. “Companies that adopt these approaches often experience lower absenteeism, reduced healthcare costs and a healthier, more resilient workplace culture.”
